Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hails launch of Mars Mission

PATNA: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hailed the successful launch of Mars Orbiter Mission and said it has instilled a sense of pride in the people of India.

"It's a matter of great pride that our scientists have successfully launched the Mars Mission from Sriharikota ( Andhra Pradesh)," he told reporters here.

"I congratulate all Indian Space Research Organization ( ISRO) scientists involved in the successful launch of Mars Mission which has made India only the fifth country in the world to undertake inter-planetary mission," Kumar said.

The Mars Mission will help gather valuable informations about activities on that planet, he added.
