Bihar BJP banks on MP CM Mohan Yadav for Yadav votes
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav on Thursday visited Patna to attend a non-political programme organised by Shri Krishna Chetana Vichar Manch, which is run by Rajendra Prasad, a retired judge of the Patna High Court, and claims to be an organisation...

As per the recent caste survey, Bihar has 14.26% Yadav population.
Though a non-political event, BJP rolled out posters welcoming Mohan Yadav across the state capital.
At the airport, apart from Bihar BJP chief Samrat Chaudhary, all the Yadav leaders of the party - Union minister Nityanand Rai, MP Ram Kripal Yadav, former state ministers Nand Kishor Yadav and Ram Surat Rai - welcomed the MP CM.
During his speech at the BJP office, Mohan Yadav took a dig at the ruling Yadav family of Bihar. He stressed on the role of the Yadav community in the democracy of the country.
RJD, however, dismissed Mohan Yadav's impact on Bihar politics. "It is because of the Mandal politics followed by Karpoori Thakur and Lalu Prasad that BJP is now forced to make Mohan Yadav the chief minister of the state," Jayant Jigyasu, RJD national spokesperson, told ET. "The people of Bihar always go with a leader who fights for their rights and achieves his leadership space, not someone who has been nominated as a leader."
