Bhupender Yadav appointed Gujarat BJP in-charge
Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shah, will go to the polls by the end of this year along with Himachal Pradesh.

Likewise, poll-bound Himachal Pradesh in-charge Shrikant Sharma has noe become power minister in Yogi Adityanath Government in UP. However, the party did not announce new in-charge for Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
Yadav began his activism as a member of RSS-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad (All India Lawyers Organisation) where he was also its general secretary for 2000-09 before he formally joined the BJP. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan in 2012. In the BJP, Yadav was closely associated with BJP’s election management of 2013 Rajasthan assembly elections where BJP emerged victorious.
Yadav was subsequently roped in party’s election management efforts in Uttar Pradesh where he was part party’s minders for Parivartan Yatras in the run up to 2017 assembly elections. Yadav’s appointment as in-charge for Gujarat is being seen as party leadership’s increasing trust in him given the fact that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah hails from the state.
