Bhishma Pitamaha, Hitler on L K Advani's blog
Senior BJP leader LK Advani was expected to break his silence through his blog on his party’s decision to anoint Narendra Modi.

Metaphors were seen in the mention of “sins committed” by dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini and mythological characters from Mahabharata – Bhishma pitamaha “who lay on a bed of arrows” and Krishna administering Geetagyan to Arjuna.
Advani, who is reportedly unwell, stayed away from the party’s national executive, where there was a vociferous demand to elevate Modi. In his blog, he said he had watched Vishwaroop a fortnight ago. He also mentioned his meeting with the filmmaker, in which he narrated an anecdote.
“The story is about a meeting Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini had during the Second World War in which Hitler tells the Italian supremo that the sins committed by the two of them would prove very costly for them after death,” Advani wrote.
Further, the story went that while Mussolini tells Hitler that he would seek the Pope’s help to obtain a pass to Heaven, Hitler suggests that he commend his name to the Pope too. Advani’s narration ended with both the fascist leaders landing in hell and only the Pope reaching Heaven.
