Bhartiya Kisan Union to protest against Land Bill in Delhi

MUZAFFARNAGAR: The Bhartiya Kisan Union ( BKU) will stage a protest against Land Acquisation Bill in Delhi on March 18.

Speaking during a Kisan Panchayat in Sisoli yesterday, BKU National President Naresh Tikait said a protest against the Land Acquisition Bill would be held at Jantar Mantar on March 18.

He asked farmers to reach Delhi to raise the issue and said the Centre is working on the "anti-farmer" Bill.

He said the farmers would not accept such a Law which is harmful for them.
