The Congress high command on Monday expectedly suspended Haryana veteran Bhajan Lal, who recently formed a rebel outfit, from the party, reports Our Political Bureau from New Delhi.

NEW DELHI: The Congress high command on Monday expectedly suspended Haryana veteran Bhajan Lal, who recently formed a rebel outfit, from the party, reports Our Political Bureau from New Delhi.

Similar punishment was handed out to two party MLAs too who had joined the revolt of the three-term former chief minister.

His son and Lok Sabha MP Kuldip Bishnoy had been similarly suspended from the Congress some months ago for anti-party activities.

“Bhajan Lal, Dharam Pal Singh Mallik and Rakesh Kamboj have been suspended from the party with immediate effect” an AICC statement has said.
