Bengal PDS scam: ED raids premises of Sheikh Shahjahan’s associate Partha Pratim Sengupta in Central Howrah

The Enforcement Directorate officials conducted raids at the premises of Partha Pratim Sengupta, a close aide of Sheikh Shahjahan, in West Bengal’s Central Howrah on February 23. The agency conducted these raids a day after the ED issued fresh summons to Shahjahan to join investigation on February 29. They conducted raids at nearly 6 locations in its ongoing investigation against absconding Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shahjahan in connection with alleged Public Distribution System (PDS) scam
