Political sources said that BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh will convene the meeting. Party chief JP Nadda is also likely to be present. The meeting is scheduled to be held at the residence of Union minister of state for education, Subhas Sarka. Two central observers for Bengal, Sunil Bansal and Mangal Pandey, are also scheduled to attend.

Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, will also be present at the meeting in addition to the MPs, including BJP state President & Balurghat MP Sukanta Majumdar and BJP National Vice-President Dilip Ghosh.
The meeting will be held close on the heels of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to West Bengal last week. Shah had visited the BJP's state headquarters on Muralidhar Sen Street in downtown Kolkata for the first time and held meetings with the party functionaries.
Meanwhile, Adhikari and BJP state President Sukanta Majumdar will hold a separate meeting on Tuesday with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss issues related to Bengal.
