Beautify Ayodhya, deploy special security force by next month, Yogi Adityanath directs officials

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to beautify Ayodhya city and ensure stringent security measures ahead of the anticipated inauguration of the Ram Temple in January. As per a TOI repor, Yogi held a high-level meeting during his recent visit to Ayodhya, where he reviewed the ongoing infrastructure projects and discussed the security strategy for the temple.

Yogi Adityanath emphasized the presence of the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force in Ayodhya within the next month and urged officials to promptly arrange accommodation, uniforms, and logistical support for the security personnel. In a high-level meeting in Lucknow, he stressed the need for proper training of the security staff assigned to protect the temple.

The security of the temple, devotees, and tourists was identified as the topmost priority during the review of the action plan for security arrangements. Yogi Adityanath expressed his commitment to develop Ayodhya as a religious city while preserving its ancient culture and civilization. He underlined the government's dedication to providing modern urban amenities for visitors.


To prepare for the temple's inauguration, Yogi recommended a grand decoration of the entire temple town. He called for the embellishment of math and temples, along with uniform facade lighting throughout the city. He urged improvements to roads, city streets, bylanes, and drainage systems to prevent waterlogging.

Acknowledging the surge in devotees and tourists in Ayodhya, Yogi emphasized special cleanliness arrangements through the urban development department, including deploying additional sanitation workers. He instructed for the expeditious completion of multipurpose parking lots and shops, as well as provisions for drinking water, toilets, and changing rooms.

To enhance the experience of visitors, Yogi Adityanath proposed the deployment of tourist police and traffic police in Ayodhya, accompanied by behavioral counseling to ensure a pleasant stay for devotees and tourists from both India and around the world.
