BCCI gives 30-day termination notice to Kochi IPL team

NEW DELHI: The high-powered governing council of the Indian Premier League on Wednesday decided to issue a 30-day termination notice to Kochi franchise.

If the two warring groups fail to resolve their differences within the notice period, the BCCI will disqualify the franchise.

In such a scenario, BCCI will consider going for a fresh auction to make sure that the IPL remains an eight-team affair.
