BBMP budget builds many hopes for Bengaluru citizens

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike ( BBMP) on Monday presented the city with a budget of Rs 8,996 crore.

Whether the city will indeed get so much, however, depends on how well and quickly the Finance department releases the Rs 4,222 crore Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has promised.

Mayor BN Manjunath Reddy called the budget “100% realistic.“
