JAISALMER: A Bangladeshi national was caught by BSF jawans in Jaisalmer's Shahgarh-Bulj area while he was allegedly trying to sneak into the Pakistani territory, an official said today.

BSF patrol team in Shahgarh-Bulj area yesterday morning spotted a suspicious person going towards Pakistan. The jawans caught and interrogated him.

The person was identified as Safiful Islam, 35, a resident of Nasinda district in Bangladesh, the official said.

Islam had illegally entered India about 20 days ago and visited Delhi, Jaipur and other cities before reaching Jaisalmer by train last week, the official added.
