BALLIA: Bahujan Samaj Party coordinator Chattu Ram has been expelled from the party for expressing solidarity with rebel BSP leader Jugal Kishore and indulging in anti-party activities, sources said today.

"Chattu Ram has been expelled for expressing solidarity with Jugul Kishore and indulging into anti-party activities," divisional coordinator Mithai Lal Bharati said.

Meanwhile, Ram claimed "a conspiracy" by "some people" for his expulsion from the party even as he expressed faith in party president Mayawati.

"I have full faith in Mayawati and I will contest next assembly election on BSP ticket," he said.

Kishore, former BSP zonal coordinator, turned rebel after he last month charged the party chief of trading Assembly and Parliamentary tickets in lieu of money.
