B Venugopal Reddy takes charge as secretary to Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao

MUMBAI: B Venugopal Reddy, additional metropolitan commissioner, MMRDA, today took charge as the new secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao.

Reddy has replaced Vikas Chandra Rastogi who has proceeded abroad for training.

Reddy, an IAS officer of the 1994 batch, has served as divisional commissioner of Nagpur division for three years, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson said.

He had also officiated as Vice Chancellor of the Rashtra Sant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur for some time.
