Azharuddin declares assets worth Rs 5.45 crore

JAIPUR: Cricketer-turned politician and Congress nominee from Tonk Sawaimadhopur Lok Sabha constituency Mohammed Azharuddin has assets worth Rs 5.45 crore, including a BMW car.

The moveable assets of the 51-year-old former cricketer have been valued at Rs 1.98 crore and immovable property worth Rs 3.47 crore.He owns one BMW car, one Honda CRV and has no jewellery in his name while Rs 3 lakh cash in hand.His spouse Sangeeta Bijlani and son Mohammad Asaduddin also owns assets worth Rs 3.23 crore and Rs 1.04 crore respectively.

Bijlani has no vehicle whereas his son has one Range Rover and one Innova, according to the affidavit filed by Azharuddin to the returning officer here.
