Ayodhya verdict: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha to move SC

The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has decided to challenge the verdict in the case before the apex court by the end of this month or early next month.

LUCKNOW: Even as some litigants in the Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute are exploring possibilities of an amicable solution, the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has decided to challenge the verdict in the case before the apex court by the end of this month or early next month.

"We will file an appeal against the High Court order in the apex court by the end of this month," ABHM state president Kamlesh Tiwari told PTI today.

He said that the Mahasabha was firm on its stand not to allow division of the land in three parts.

"It would be better if the entire land is given to Ramlala," Tiwari said.

He said that the Mahasabha was ready for a mutual discussion only on one condition that the Sunni Central Waqf Board withdraws its claim from the land.

"If they (Muslims) leave their claim then we will provide double land for the construction of the mosque," the ABHM state president said.

"As of now no positive and meaningful effort is being made to find an amicable solution to the dispute," he said.

The Sunni Waqf Board has already announced that it will move apex court against the HC verdict.
