RAE BARELI: A special court here, hearing the Babri demolition case against BJP leader L K Advani and seven others, on Saturday fixed August 29 for further hearing of the case.
The case could not be taken up today owing to a strike by the State Bar Association in protest against alleged kidnapping of a lawyer in Mau recently.
Besides Advani, BJP general secretary Vinay Katiyar, former Union ministers M M Joshi and Uma Bharati, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders Ashok Singhal, Acharya Giriraj Kishore, Vishnu Hari Dalmiya and Sadhvi Ritambhara are the other accused in the case.
