MUMBAI: Hiloni Dedhia, a young deputy manager of Axis Bank, is among the 22 people killed after a stampede broke out on a crowded foot overbridge connecting two stations in Mumbai on Friday. Hiloni, 24, a chartered accountant, joined Axis Bank in January and was working as a credit co-ordinator.

According to her colleagues, Hiloni, a K J Somaiya college graduate, was a Ghatkopar resident. “Axis Bank has lost a brilliant credit coordinator in Friday's mishap,“ tweeted Dharmesh Mehta, CEO, Axis Capital.

Another victim, Teresa Paul was an executive assistant to Shashi Sinha, CEO, IPG Mediabrands and Nandini Dias, CEO, Lodestar UM India. Paul, 39, a mother of two, with the second being less than a year old.

The offices of IPG Mediabrands had recently moved to Saki Naka, and Paul was helping with the shifting of the agency of the media conglomerate, Lodestar UM, from its office at Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, to the new location. This would have been her last day working out of Lower Parel office.She was slated to start work at Saki Naka office from Tuesday.

She's fondly remembered by her colleagues as a very warm, efficient person. She was also well regarded by people within the industry, given her boss Shashi Sinha's close association with many large industry bodies.
