AVAM challenges Arvind Kejriwal for open debate on 'swaraj'
AVAM is ready to talk or debate with anyone from AAP or outside regarding "swaraj", "AAP" or "how AAP should function".

"AVAM is ready to talk or debate with anyone from AAP or outside regarding "swaraj", "AAP" or "how AAP should function". The party seems to be maligning us and running away from a legitimate discussion by refusing to debate. Neither is AAP doing any introspection about its attitude towards volunteers, nor is it ready to have a healthy debate with them. This just depicts their rigid and close-minded attitude," said Geetanjali Aggarwal, media co-ordinator, AVAM.
The party has distanced itself from this group which claims to work for AAP. "Volunteers had certain legitimate issues with the leadership after Lok Sabha polls. Kejriwal has taken on the responsibility of reorganizing the party and giving voice to volunteers. Senior leaders have been holding regular meetings where problems are aired and then resolved. AVAM seems to have a motive best known to it," said a leader.
The debate has been set for the coming Sunday. Initially, AVAM had threatened the pol khol from Wednesday, claiming that they had documents to support the accusations they would be leveling against the AAP leadership. However, now they have postponed it till the coming week.
In a letter to Kejriwal, AVAM has written: "They again started having dreams of betterment. As they were not intellectuals, they looked up to you to guide them. When you told them how Swaraj would change their world, their joy knew no limits. Now, they feel confused as you have sought to reinvent the notion of swaraj. You need to clear the air once and for all."
