AHMEDABAD: At least twenty people were killed when a speeding truck run over them on the Dolka-Bagodra highway here early Thursday morning, TV reports said.
The incident took place near Bejwa crossroad on the highway where a number of people on their way to pilgrimage were sleeping on the roadside.
Sixteen persons have died on the spot while 15 others were reported to have been injured. The injured are said to have been admitted to the VS Hospital in Ahmedabad.
