Associates of TRS chief booked under atrocities act

HYDERABAD: A case was booked under SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act against some associates of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao after they allegedly attacked and abused one person in the name of caste, police said today.

Following a complaint by one Chinta Swamy that KCR's associates allegedly attacked and abused him in the name of caste, the Banjara Hills Police registered a case last night and took up further investigations, they said.
