Assembly elections 2013: Ashok Gehlot to meet Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehot, whose party is staring at a massive defeat in the Assembly elections here, will meet Governor Margaret Alva this evening.

He will meet Alva at 7 PM in Raj Bhawan, sources said. Earlier, as election result trends showed his party losing power, Gehlot said that his party had provided good governance and also benefitted the people through its schemes but an "undercurrent" seems to have worked against Congress in Rajasthan.

BJP was heading for an impressive win in Rajasthan where it was leading in 133 out of 199 seats while ruling Congress was ahead in 36 seats.
