Assam to take up green building concept

GUWAHATI: Government buildings in Assam will soon take to green concepts.

Assam chief minister, Tarun Gogoi on Monday at Guwahati Press club said," We have asked the various departments to take to green code in the government building. We will even ask the private developers to do the same."

Under the green concept the building will have rain water harvesting, power from renewal sources.Concept of green building is slowly picking up in Guwahati.
