Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said the decision to hold single test for medical entrance might prove counter-productive for the students of Assam. “Government has decided to seek a review of the Supreme Court’s judgement on NEET."
Chief Minister Gogoi also requested the Centre to take up the matter. The apex court on Thursday cleared the way for NEET this year for admission into medical colleges.
The SC directed the Centre and CBSE to go ahead and conduct two-phase single common entrance test for MBBS, BDS and PG courses through the NEET.
