Assam protests led by true Hindus: Ex-CM Tarun Gogoi

GUWAHATI: Former CM Tarun Gogoi has said that Assam’s anti-CAA protests are being led by those who believe in the teachings of Gita and Vedas and the ideals of Srimanta Sankardeva and Mahatma Gandhi. The movement is spearheaded by true Hindus, he said.

Gogoi said: "Although Muslims have come out against CAA in a large number but the protests are largely being led by the Hindus."
