Assam-Nagaland border violence: Death toll mounts to 11 with recovery of two bodies
The district administration is taking no chances and precautionary measures are being enforced with clamping of night curfew from 10 am to 6 pm.

Police recovered two decomposed dead bodies at Changla Chung under Uriamghat Police station on Thursday. The decomposed bodies have been identified as Robet Kaso (40 yrs.) and Balu Ghatowar (35 yrs.).
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi took stock of the prevailing law and order situation in Golaghat district and relief measures taken by the district administration for the camp inmates in the aftermath of violence along the Assam-Nagaland border on August 12-13 last.
The district administration is, however, taking no chances and precautionary measures are being enforced with clamping of night curfew from 10 am to 6 pm.
Around 29 additional fixed security pickets have been set up in the B Sector of Assam-Nagaland border to provide security to the people living there. The pickets are being manned by four companies of CRPF and five companies of SSB personnel.
Three additional companies of Assam Police Battalions are also stationed there. Around 5,099 inmates living in relief camps have returned home.
Altogether 9,837 displaced persons of 16 villages were living in relief camps as on August 15 last.
