Assam government inks loan agreement with World Bank

Government of Assam has signed a loan agreement with World Bank and Government of India for 320 million US Dollars in New Delhi.

GUWAHATI: Government of Assam has signed a loan agreement with World Bank and Government of India for 320 million US Dollars in New Delhi.

The loan is for improvement of State Highways under the Assam State Road Project.

Commissioner and Special Secretary, PWD (Roads), Mohon Chandra Boro signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Assam.
