He said, “I can guarantee development in Assam if the state elects BJP under Sarbananda Sonowal. We will put the state on the path of growth and prosperity. BJP already has a firm track record for development in several states. States like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh have re-elected BJP again and again on the basis of the party’s ability to deliver on development.”

The BJP president added that Assam has given chance to Congress for 55 years. “The state’s voters must give one chance to BJP to govern for 5 years and I can assure that you will re-elect BJP after 5 years. One crore people in Assam are living below the poverty line.”

The tea estate workers must vote for BJP if they want to get rid of all these problems,” Shah said.
