Assam court summons Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for remark against PM Narendra Modi

GUWAHATI: A court in Diphu of East Karbi Anglong has asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before it on January 30, 2017, in a case related to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's degree.

Case number 459/16 has been registered against Arvind Kejriwal under section 499/500/501 of IPC after an FIR filed by Surya Rongphar, an elected member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, for alleged derogatory remarks on twitter against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Arvind Kejriwal had twitted on December 15 that Narendra Modi is only 12th pass and all other succeeding degrees are fake.
