Assam CM Tarun Gogoi slams Union cabinet's decision of imposition of President's rule in Arunachal Pradesh
Gogoi said there is no case for President's rule in Arunachal Pradesh. "There is no breakdown of law and order in the state.

“What was the urgency to take such a decision? The matter of Arunachal is pending with the Supreme Court of India. The matter is sub judice. They (union cabinet) could have waited for a couple of days as Supreme Court would have given its verdict,” Gogoi said on January 25.
Gogoi said there is no case for President's rule in Arunachal Pradesh. "There is no breakdown of law and order in the state. . Governors of Assam, Tripura and Arunachal are acting like agents of RSS, they are working like pracharaks of RSS. This is unfortunate,” he said.
The Assam chief minister said President Pranab Mukerjee had to recently remind the Governors that they should work within the framework of the Constitution.
“This decision of Union cabinet reflects the dictatorial attitude of the Narendra Modi government,” said Gogoi.
