Ashwini Vaishnaw says Semicon 2.0 will build complete ecosystem in India

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said Semicon 2.0 would expand the foundation laid under Semicon 1.0 and develop a complete s Ministeremiconductor ecosystem within India. Speaking at Semicon 2026 in Delhi, he highlighted the importance of domestic chip manufacturing for industries including automobiles, appliances, trains and drones.
