Ashok Gehlot's boss is Vasundhara Raje, alleges Sachin Pilot; Says he will launch pad yatra on May 11 against corruption

Going all-guns blazing against Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Congress leader Sachin Pilot today alleged that Gehlot's real boss is Vasundhara Raje not Sonia Gandhi. He alleged that it is the primary reason why Gehlot is not taking any action on corruption charges.

"I have been raising the corruption charges against the previous BJP government since the last five years, but no action has been taken. After listening to CM's speech, I understand why no action was taken against issues of corruption I raised," he said.

Pilot also announced that he will start a five-day Jan Sangharsh Pad Yatra from Ajmer to Jaipur on May 11 to raise the issues of youth like paper leak, corruption.


He was commenting on Ashok Gehlot's stunning comment at the weekend that Vasundhara Raje helped save his government during a rebel crisis in 2020.

"After hearing the Chief Minister's speech, I think his leader is not Sonia Gandhi but his leader is Vasundhara Raje," Pilot told reporters.

The Congress leader also categorically denied Gehlot's charges during his speech on Sunday that the MLAs who rebelled against him in 2020 had taken money from the BJP and they should return the money to Amit Shah.

Pilot also said it is wrong to make allegations against own (Congress) leaders.

“it is condemnable. I categorically deny false and baseless allegations,” he said.
