Ashok Gehlot asks Raje government to ensure potable water during summer
JAIPUR: Considering the poor monsoon forecast, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot today asked the Vasundhara Raje government that it should ensure potable water for people living in remote villages.

Gehlot said out of 237 ground water blocks, only 31 were left with water and as per the Met department monsoon will be weak this year, according to an official statement.

Hence, the state BJP government should act now with priority on drinking water availability in far flung areas of the state, it said.
