Ashish Kulkarni quits Congress; Who is he, asks party
NEW DELHI: A Congress ‘war room functionary’, Ashish Kulkarni on Friday released his letter of resignation sent to party vicepresident Rahul Gandhi, creating ‘breaking news’ but Congress spokesperson Ajay Maken asked, “who is he, have you seen him ever at AICC?” and dismissed the letter as a BJP ploy.

Claiming himself as a member of the Congress Coordination Centre, Kulkarni’s letter listed lack of Congress focus on developing effective management system in many state elections, some senior leaders’ inability to make an honest study of the party debacle, the “failure” of Rahul to deliver on promise of ensuring inner-party democracy as reasons for him quitting.
