Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM may tie-up with BSP in UP
Owaisi said AIMIM was yet to enter into a formal alliance with the BSP or any other party. He called Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party a “naatak company

Speaking at his maiden rally in UP at Bikapur in Faizabad district, Owaisi said the 2017 elections will throw up a new Dalit-Muslim combination and AIMIM will have a major role in it. Apart from fielding Dalit candidate Pradeep Kori from Bikapur, AIMIM's attempt to focus on Dalit-Muslim combination was obvious throughout Owaisi's address with slogans like `Baba Saheb Tera Mission Adhoora... Ab Owaisi Karenge Poora' raised by party workers. With over 3.6 lakh voters, Bikapur has 28% Muslism and 18% Dalit voters.
Owaisi addressed the Dalit-Muslim equation claiming Akhlaq was killed in Dadri because he was a Muslim and Hyderabad PhD scholar Rohith Vemula was forced to end his life as he was a Dalit.
Owaisi said AIMIM was yet to enter into a formal alliance with the BSP or any other party. He called Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party a “naatak company
