New Delhi: Congress party's much-projected plan to hold four Rahul Gandhi-led mega students' conventions against paper leaks, which started with the Kota convention on June 17, appears to have gone into hibernation with party functionaries in UP and Bihar now saying Gandhi's scheduled second convention on July 10 at Prayagraj and the third one in Patna on July 11 will not take place.

While these party functionaries are now being told that fresh dates in the second half of July are being explored for these events, including considering Dehradun as a possible alternative venue, yet the cancellation of the two scheduled events after the much-publicised preparations has triggered curious discussions among Congress campers about the whereabouts of Gandhi - on whether he has extended his visit abroad.
