In an organisational shake-up , the Congress has appointed Bhupesh Baghel, a vocal critic of Ajit Jogi, as the new PCC president of Chhattisgarh.

NEW DELHI: In an organisational shake-up , the Congress has appointed Bhupesh Baghel, a vocal critic of Ajit Jogi, as the new PCC president of Chhattisgarh. He has replaced union minister Charan Das Mahant.

In Delhi, AICC named Arvinder Singh Lovely, former state minister and one of the eight party MLAs who survived the party’s electoral rout, as the PCC chief. He replaces J P Aggrawal. The AICC Is expected to appoint new organisational leaders in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan as well.
