Arvind Kejriwal to hold six rallies over four weeks
NEW DELHI: Continuing with its protest against the Centre’s demonetisation drive, the Aam Admi Party ( AAP) will hold six rallies over four weeks next month, led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

In solidarity with a nation-wide protest called by Opposition parties led by Mamata Banerjee’s All India Trinamool Congress, AAP will also hold demonstrations and protests in its district headquarters, said AAP leader Ashish Khetan. Kejriwal is scheduled to hold rallies in Meerut, Varanasi and Lucknow on December 1, 7 and 18 respectively. This will be followed by another round of rallies in Bhopal, Ranchi and Jaipur on December 20, 22 and 23.

Taking a cue from the survey conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue of black money and demonetisation, the party is also planning to pose a set of seven questions to those attending the rallies. “The questions will be around exposing the.`8-lakh-crore scam that demonitisation is all about,” he said. The questions will be similar to issues raked up by Kejriwal in his rally with Mamata Banerjee here last week and will be on action taken against those holding secret accounts in Swiss banks.
