Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and raised issues relating to the law-and-order situation in the national capital.

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and raised issues relating to the law-and-order situation in the national capital.

Sources said Kejriwal also discussed with Singh appointment of a new Chief Secretary for Delhi government as incumbent D M Spolia is set to retire tomorrow.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also present in the meeting.

They said Kejriwal conveyed to Singh that there was scope for enhancing the law-and-order situation in Delhi. He is understood to have apprised the Home Minister his government's choice for the next Chief Secretary.

Sources said 1984 batch IAS officer R S Negi, currently serving as chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, is in the race for the top post in the city government.
