Government amends order; Arvind Kejriwal in NITI Aayog
NEW DELHI: The Centre has amended its Jan 1 order to include Kejriwal as a member of the governing council of NITI Aayog, replacing L-G Najeeb Jung in the body that was formed after dismantling the erstwhile Planning Commission.

Puducherry was officially represented by its L-G AK Singh in the meeting. This happened because a notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat on New Year’s Day regarding the setting up of the Aayog did not mention whether CMs of UTs with legislatures would be part of the NITI Aayog.
