Kicking off his 2-day Haryana roadshow, Arvind Kejriwal slammed the Congress and BJP, saying gas prices will "increase manifold" if the two parties come to power.

FARIDABAD: AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal kicked off his two-day road show in Haryana attacking the increase in gas prices, which he said will lead of price rise of daily items if Congress or BJP come to power.

As the leader started is campaign for the two AAP candidates of Faridabad and Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituencies – Purushotam Dagar and Yogendra Yadav — some locals showed black flags and shouted slogans against him, alleging that Kejriwal had shirked responsibility by resigning as the chief minister of Delhi.

The AAP alleged that the protest was sponsored by BJP. The AAP leader had termed the Centre’s decision to increase the price of natural gas from April 1, 2014 as a clear violation of the model code of conduct and had written to Chief Election Commissioner V Sampath about it.
