Arvind Kejriwal defends its anti-Congress campaign

He urged the people to reject the Congress during the upcoming assembly polls if it fails to bring the bill during the session.

MEERUT: Arvind Kejriwal today defended Team Anna's anti-Congress stand saying it is being adopted to keep the pressure on the party so that the Jan Lokpal Bill is introduced during the Winter session of Parliament.

"There is a Congress-led government at the Centre, therefore we are pressurising the Congress to introduce a strong Jan Lokpal Bill during the Winter Session," he told a rally here.

He urged the people to reject the Congress during the upcoming assembly polls if it fails to bring the bill during the session.

Countering corruption allegations levelled against some members of Team Anna, Kejriwal claimed these are "attempts to weaken our fight against corruption".
