As the Enforcement Directorate conducted search operations across states in connection with Delhi excise policy, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal threw his weight behind his deputy Manish Sisodia, an accused in alleged liquor policy scam.

Within minutes of ED teams fanning out at different locations in Delhi and Punjab on Friday, Kejriwal took to microblogging site Twitter in support of Sisodia. “More than 500 raids, over 300 employees of CBI/ED working 24 hours to look for proof against Manish Sisodia.

But they are unable to find anything. This is because he has done nothing. They are wasting the time of so many employees for their dirty politics. How will the country progress?” the Aam Aadmi Party convenor tweeted in Hindi.
