Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma meets Manohar Parrikar

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma has met Union Minister for Defence Manohar Parrikar at New Delhi and discussed issues related to the state.

Carrying forward the cause of the state, the governor urged in the meeting yesterday the defence minister for fast tracking the establishment of the first ever Sainik School in the state and raising of ecological Territorial Army battalions, a Raj Bhawan communiqué said here today.

The Governor also took up cases related to land acquisition in Arunachal Pradesh for defence purposes.
