Arunachal Pradesh: All check gates of Itanagar sealed

ITANAGAR: All check-gates of the state capital have been sealed following apprehension of possible infiltration by miscreants.

Besides, intensive patrolling and checking is being carried out in the state capital, an official release said. The capital administration has appealed to the people to cooperate with police and the magistrate on duty while checking vehicles or any other locations.

In case any unclaimed bag or suspected material is noticed at any place, nearest police station should be informed, the release said and appealed that no strangers should be harboured or employed without prior police verification.
