Arunachal government orders inquiry into Kalikho Pul’s death

The state government has ordered an inquiry to investigate whether there is any foul play in his (Pul’s) death, Pema Khandu said.

GUWAHATI: Following the alleged suicide of former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul, state government has ordered an inquiry into the death. Chief minister Pema Khandu said: “The state government has ordered an inquiry to investigate whether there is any foul play in his (Pul’s) death.

Khandu added that police had been instructed to seize all available materials so that a genuine investigation process could be initiated. Meanwhile, police have recovered four booklets reportedly written by Pul.

A senior police official said: “We are yet to read it. We have not found any dairy yet.”
