Arunachal CM missing: Search on in Bhutan for missing chopper

ISRO satellites, which have been trying to track Arunachal CM Dorjee Khandu's missing helicopter, have found a new location with the presence of metallic objects.

NEW DELHI: ISRO satellites, which have been trying to track the missing helicopter with Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu, have found a new location with the presence of metallic objects inside Bhutan.

Official sources said the satellite imagery has located strong metallic presence near the Indo-Bhutanese border, 2.5 km inside Bhutan.

Bhutan government has already allowed ITBP, SSB and Arunachal Pradesh Police to enter its territory.

The sources said nothing has been found in an earlier location within a 66 sq km area in West Kameng district, where the ISRO satellite imagery had found traces of several metallic objects.
