Arun Shourie's remarks were a dejected person's voice: Tamil Nadu BJP
COIMBATORE: Tamil Nadu BJP today hit out at former minister Arun Shourie for his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government, party president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley stating it was the voice of a dejected person.

"It was the voice of a dejected person who was expecting something big and failed to get it," party state president Tamilisai Soundararajan told reporters here.

Shourie, a BJP minister in the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's cabinet, had yesterday stated that Modi, Shah and Jaitley were running the party.

"It has offended the opposition as well as frightened the members of the BJP," he had said.

Soundararajan accused Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi of spreading "wrong information" about the proposed Real Estate Bill like he did on the Land Acquisition Bill.

In reality, the bill will have lot of benefits to common people, she said.
