Arun Jaitley talked to Uttarakhand BJP leaders on demonetisation
NEW DELHI: Through video-conferencing, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley talked with the state level functionaries of BJP’s Uttarakhand Unit and made them aware about the benefits of the centre’s demonetization drive on Wednesday afternoon.

In a press release, BJP’s national general secretary Ram Lal said the BJP wants to counter those who are spreading “misinformation” about the PM Narendra Modi’s historic decision regarding demonetisation. Thus, this video conferencing was organized to make party workers aware about the benefit of demonetisation drive.

Describing the demonetisation drive as “Naitik Ladai” (moral battle), Jaitley told the party leaders the truth can’t be defeated. He told the party leaders that this battle is against terrorism, black money and fake currency. He hoped that the situation would soon become normal in the banks. With the demonetisation decision, honest people started feeling that they have their own importance in the country.

Assembly polls are scheduled to be held in Uttarakhand early next year.
