Artificial intelligence will dominate human life in future: PM Narendra Modi

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the day is not far when artificial intelligence will dominate human life.

"Artificial intelligence will drive human race. It will be debated whether there will be job left or not. But experts say that there is huge possibility of job creation through AI," said Modi.

PM Modi said the current mindset of people is the biggest challenge in adopting technology. "We need to create environment for digital growth," PM added.

Modi said in order to spread the technology it needs to be adopted by large number of people.

PM Modi made the remark while launching integrated case management system of Supreme Court in the presence of Chief Justice of India J S Khehar, in New Delhi today.

"Influence of artificial intelligence is on the rise. Technology has the power to transform our economic potential,” said PM Modi.

The integrated case management system is an attempt to make Supreme Court a Digital Court.

Also talking about e-governance, he said e-governance can also be seen as easy governance, effective governance, economical governance and environment-friendly governance.

"E-governance is easy, effective and economical. It is also environment-friendly. Paperless offices will benefit the environment," Modi said.

PM also put forward a new equation IT + IT = IT. He explained it as 'Information technology + Indian Talent = India Tomorrow' and said that our youth has the talent to reshape India's future.
